How do I become LEED accredited?

** PLEASE DESCRIBE THIS IMAGE **Becoming a LEED accredited professional is becoming more difficult with the US Green Building Council's move from LEED 2.2 to LEEDv3. The move is not only affecting how buildings are certified but also how professionals become LEED accredited. Through 2009, 2010 and 2011 the USGBC will be rolling out new rating systems and LEED accredited exams. Frequent the USGBC and GBCI sites online for continually updated information related to the changes.

If you are looking to become a LEED accredited professional under the new system you will first have to pass the Green Associate test. Once you have earn your Green Associate Credential and have pro experience working on at least one or more green buildings you are eligible to take one of the LEED AP Specialty exams.
