What is LEED certification?

LEED Certification is a process by which the US Green Building Council provides verification that a building project meets the highest LEED green building and performance measures. The green certification process is a very detailed process of making sure that green builders adhere to the standards set by the USGBC to make sure their project is environmentally sustainable.

Individuals who work on LEED green projects learn the details of the process it takes a building to get certified. In order for individuals to work on LEED Certification projects they must pass the LEED AP exam. There is a very strict course of study that requires a lot of practice to fully understand green certification.
