LEED Certification | LEED AP Exam | Practice Test Prep

Will I be able to pass the exam immediately after the Green Ideas seminar?

In most cases the answer is no - and you should be leery of any company that makes this promise. Why? The LEED AP exams are difficult and require to learn and understand a lot of information related to the categories, prerequisites, credits and points within the rating system as well as the overall sustainable building industry. The rate at which a student will be ready to take the exam is based on the amount of time the student can invest in learning the necessary material. In most cases a student can expect to be prepared to pass the AP exam within two to three weeks of the Green Ideas seminar if they are able to invest two to three hours per day of study time. This is variable based on a student's ability to memorize the necessary information.

The seminar will provide each student with a guide on what to study and where to find the information. We provide real-world case studies and examples to help each student learn the necessary information. Our faculty has worked on over 70 LEED projects (23+ million square feet of building space) and bring this real-world knowledge to each seminar. They are experts in the industry and have helped over 12,000 prepare for success on their LEED AP or Green Associate exam and improve their skill level as it relates to green building and sustainable design.

In addition, throughout the Green Ideas seminar we provide the students with sample exam questions and end the day with an 20-question practice exam. For those students who want to become more familiar with the AP exam, we offer an Online Exam Simulator that contains four practice exams and one, timed simulated exam. The practice exams provide immediate feedback on the answers to the questions so that a student and target their studying. If a student is scoring an 85% or higher on our practice exams they are likely to pass the actual AP exam.
